Born and raised in Southern California, Kerri has always felt a natural affinity to the arts. As a youth, she was inspired to experience and explore many aspects of artistic expression. Kerri pursued studies in painting, music, dance and classical voice training.

Painting remained her first and foremost passion, but unable to attend school while raising her 2 children, Kerri took a different route to obtain as much classroom knowledge as possible. Kerri decided to become a model and spent many years posing at art schools, work shops, and colleges and used modeling as an opportunity to gain knowledge and instruction while listening as instructors lectured. Absorbing as much information as possible, Kerri would then apply it to her own self studies.

Eventually, while attending for a brief period at the California Art Institute in Westlake Village, the opportunity arose to study with many great painters whom she had modeled for over the years. Ryan Wurmser, Aaron Westerberg and Jeremy Lipking to name a few.

Many years down the road with her children now grown, Kerri's personal and artistic growth along with a desire to contribute have been irresistible and compelling forces that continue to inspire and motivate. Experiencing a higher awareness through the painting process Kerri continually strives to capture the source that moves us intimately and collectively. To grasp the transitory moment that adds beauty and dimension to our experience and existence.
